Lulu et Joe rencontrent Chiara, récemment arrivée d'Italie. Rapidement inséparable, le trio se retrouve souvent dans une vieille ferme, un repaire d'anarchistes et de marginaux. Ils y découvrent les idéaux d'un monde libre et jurent de ne jamais se quitter.
