Après être parti étudier aux États-Unis, David Bouma est de retour au pays. Victor Kamga apprend qu'il est atteint d'un cancer du foie ; il convoque Marc pour l'aider à retrouver son ex fiancée et ainsi réparer ses erreurs. Maya est embauchée comme serveuse dans le bar de Towa.

Avec la complicité de sa mère Tsama, Bilounga veut empêcher Sonna de connaître la vérité sur son père biologique. David propose un nouveau travail à Ebone. Adama embauche Charles Edimo comme nouveau domestique de la famille Bouma. Maya retrouve son ancienne camarade de lycée, Mirabelle Fowa, désormais officier de police.
