France, 2030. The Covid epidemics have barely come to an end when a new strain of the plague, called YP2, is discovered in a town in the South. It is powerful. As there is no treatment, the government decides as a matter of urgency to lock down the area and implement the mysterious "Plan D".

A group of eco-terrorists claim responsibility for bombing Montreal's land-fill sites. All household waste collections are suspended, rapidly turning the city into one gigantic rubbish dump. Judith, a single mother, has to get her asthmatic son out of what has become a pestilential hell.
