S2025: E14 Morocco: the water highway, a track against water stress

Faced with persistent drought, Morocco launched the "water highway", an ambitious project aimed at transferring water from the Sebou river to the driest areas. This project has transferred more than 700 million m3 until early March, ensuring the supply of millions of Moroccans. However, the country remains vulnerable to the effects of climate change and relies on sustainable and diversified management of its water resources for the future.
