Violette et Régis passent Noël chez les grands-parents de Violette, mais les tensions sont vives. Avec l'aide de Malcolm, elle prend des photos de Régis au travail pour montrer à ses grands-parents qu'il est heureux. La famille se réunit ensuite à Versailles.

Violette change d'école et ne connaît personne, à Versailles. Pour s'intégrer, elle accepte un rôle dans le spectacle dansant de l'école et joue Marie-Antoinette. Elle demande l'aide de Régis, qui avait quitté la danse quelques années plus tôt à cause de blessures.
