The hermit explains to Pokou and Akuba that Kakou has been attacked by supernatural powers. His soul and his spirit have been scattered through a parallel world. To save the prince, they will have to travel there themselves.

As the rival prince's soldiers attack them, Pokou realises that they also have supernatural powers. Her aunt is kidnapped. Thanks to Boni, Pokou manages to get away and continue her quest.

Whilst Pokou searches the village in the hope of finding a clue that will put her on Kakou's trail, Boni plays the game with Akissi. It turns out to be much more subtle and dangerous than first appeared...

Akissi's game turns the adults to stone, because she considers them to be wicked. Pokou helps Boni play and he finally manages to get the upper hand. As they had won, Akissi gives them a magical sphere.

Boni and Pokou are taken to N'Zueklô, a village that lies... under water! The queen of the village tells them that they have to find several magical objects in order to put Kakou's soul back together again.

Pokou and Boni decide to try to help the stone wizard who, because of his unhappiness, has poured all his sadness and anger onto the men of the village. As a result of their kindness they are able to collect the final magical sphere.

Pokou and Boni now have to find a spear that has the power of reactivating Kakou's spirit. They enter a strange pyramid, but once inside a mummy tries to attack them.
