Dominique Marchais takes a waterside walk to explore the emblematic Loire river basin. And asks political, ecological and existential questions: how can we best develop the area in the general interest? How can we modernise without destroying past achievements? How can we live together?
A journey through the vineyards of Europe to meet the winemakers creating "organic", "biodynamic" and "natural" wines. Professionals eager to demonstrate that there is another way, chemical-free or almost, and that it is urgent to rediscover a taste for it and an accompanying respect for the environment.
There is a small revolution happening in the world of wine. 2014. Thousands of Yazidi women kidnapped by ISIS were reduced to sexual slavery. On being freed, Ana was forced to abandon her baby. All the children born as a result of these rapes were systematically rejected by the Yazidi community. Ana secretly crosses Kurdistan to see her daughter Marya again.
